The month of Ramadan draws near,
Bringing us closer to Allah so clear.
Fasting and prayer to God every day,
A time for reflection and devotion to say.
Sacrifice and submission to His will,
Shall fill out lives with blessings anew still.
Peace and harmony through out the night,
Mercy and justice shining ever so bright.
Honor the lineage of our faith,
Ours is a tradition with infinite grace.
Giving our hearts and souls to God,
Peace in the world shall be restored.
Living to serve and always be kind,
Compassion, love and charity define.
Building bridges instead of walls.
