…He desires not hardship for you, and that you may complete the number, and that you may exalt Allah for His having guided you and that you may be grateful [ Al-Baqarah – 2:186]
Alhamdulillah wa shukrohlillah. We give thanks to Allah, the Almighty for His grace, we adore Him for this opportunity and pray for more of it as Ramadan is just a day or two left. Even though Ramadan is ending, we all need to make sure it stays with us. We all know that Ramadan lasts only for a month, 29 or 30 wonderful days. This special month is a time to get closer to Allah in a physical, mental and spiritual manner. And we have to take care not to lose this closeness with Him.
Ramadan is essential to the Muslims. It brings to us soap to wash ourselves clean from dirt, to abstain not from eating and drinking alone but also from so many other things that are haram.
One added bonus that comes with fasting is that we have actually learned to be more kind to to many people around us.
Ramadan teaches uncountable lessons: from the daily tafseer, radio programmes and many more. The best act we have engaged in should not stop after the month of blessing.
This is how best we can maintain the blessing we have gained in this holy month. May Allah’s rahma never seize in our lives – aamin.
