Have you overcome these, the act of laziness that you are buried in? The scent of hypocrisy that incensed the air around you. The spell of boredom you casted upon yourself, the denial of favours from Him that is Mighty and Wise. He that has made everything in your favour and to please you. He created the heavens and rain down water sprout out to that effect, vegetations from the earth for your diet and sustainance. You are pleased with your lifestyle for He never will you abandonment. Why should you abandon your right and become hypocrite? To offer prayer as at when due and as expected is the very best way of exercising one’s faith. Negligence to them is like rusting one’s key to paradise. Once it become rusted, then there won’t be no entrance.
The Holy Prophet (saw) made it clear that the key to prayer is ablution and the key to paradise is salat. Why would you decide to dwell in ignorance when evidently you are witting of this fact?
Check through yourself and harken to the call to success. In it lies comfort and solace. Do not play away your chances before Allah, hold unto prayers and never let go of it. Pay attention to the obligatory ones; take time not to miss fajr and Isha, (as well as other fard prayer) at their appropriate times, never forsake dhikr, qiyyamu layl and then your good deeds. Allah’s Rahman is there for you in manifolds.
