We’ve sounded the bugle
And the gunshots echoed our reverence
For our fallen heroes
Laid down their lives
While on battle grounds
For our safety,
Unsettling the ranks of the enemies.
Rains of grenades daintily adorned them
As they fought for our unity
While we’re at our comfort zones mourning their death.
What a life they’d lived
Forever is our remembrance,
For our fallen heroes are more than heroes.
